10 pence coins trail raises £584.77 for our chosen charity "Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens"!!
After many discussions, School Council ended up voting for Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens for our charity to raise money for. We then fed back our information to our classes and decided on a fundraising idea. This happened to be a penny trail with 10pence coins. To figure out who went first and last we started with a specific class who would then alert the next class when they completed their turn. Furthermore, thanks to the people keeping an eye on the trail no one took anything and in total we managed to make a line 145metres long!
The class who raised the most money were to receive a prize. This happened to be 3 King; they raised £53.80! It’s an outstanding total to reach and I can expect the teacher to be ecstatic to find his or her students have won. I’m glad to say our grand total could really benefit the charity.
In conclusion, we raised £584.77!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this large amount!
