REVISED PUPIL ADMISSION NUMBER - 2021/22
In 2019 Moulsham Junior School, as its own admission authority, consulted on a reduction to the published admission number (PAN) for the academic year 2021/22.
The reduction in numbers was in direct response to the reduction in numbers at our partner school Moulsham Infants School (MIS).
MIS had already reduced their admission number from 120 back to 90 places as a consequence of the overall reduction in demand for school places within the Moulsham area.
However, even after this reduction, it is anticipated that we at Moulsham Junior School will still be able to offer a place to every Year 2 child at both our partner schools MIS and Oaklands Infants.
Applications for places
All applications for admissions to Moulsham Junior School are dealt with through the Planning and Admissions team at Essex County Council (0345 603 2200).
Currently, for academic year 2019/20, we are a 6-form intake school (180 places).
Please see the criteria for applications in the 2019/20 Admissions Policy, below.

From a Remote Learning Mum; "I also really wanted to thank the teachers for their hard work in producing such fantastic English lessons this week- so much effort went into this and we very much appreciated it. We loved the teachers modelling their ideas, it helped so much."@Moulshamjunior
From a Critical worker- "At this time, with families facing such challenges I feel grateful that he at least is afforded the safety and routine of school. It helps more than you might know."@Moulshamjunior
