What an exciting year we have in store with interesting and engaging topics. In Year 4 the expectations are high and the children will rise to meet them.
Our topics include: Japan and the Rugby World Cup 2019, Rainforests, Sounds of Africa, The Ancient Egyptians, Islam Inspires and The Rise of the Robots. Through these, the children will develop a broad range of skills and understanding which can be seen on our curriculum overview.
Each new topic has an entry point that is designed to hook the children, and an exit point as a grand finale. These include trips a visit to Great Notley Country Park to enhance our Science curriculum; taking part in our very own Rugby World Cup tournament, a planned visit to a Museum to find out about the Egyptians, taking part in an African Drumming workshop and a visit to a local Mosque.
However, the highlight of the whole year has to be our three day camping trip to Danbury. Here, the children engage in activities that challenge them both physically and mentally. They never fail to astound us with their capacity to respond to these and the year four staff are already anticipating a fabulous residential trip in the coming year.
Finally, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for the partnerships we have already developed in order to support the children of the Moulsham community.
Thank you for inviting us- always a great event. https://t.co/DH6wuRTjRL@Moulshamjunior
Year 6 had an incredible, unexpected day...The children had to create a special edition of the Daily Prophet. These are finalists from each class and a picture of our winning team from 6Kemp. https://t.co/88JQLiRRoZ@Moulshamjunior
@watsoncomedian We always discuss with parents- have also had twins together and then in separate classes further on as children develop. But always a joint decision.@Moulshamjunior
